Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has refused to confirm whether Clarence Seedorf will be the Rossoneri’s head coach next season.

Rumours continue to link the Botafogo midfielder with the role, but Galliani is giving nothing away.

“Is Seedorf in pole position? Let’s just say a position,” he said, as reported by Football Italia.

“I have seen him, but I see him every year – we are friends.

“Let’s just go forwards and wait until the end of the season. That’s when we’ll see who the next Coach of Milan will be.”

Seedorf spent ten seasons with Milan, winning numerous major trophies, before joining Botafogo in June 2012.
