Diego confirms he will complete VfL Wolfsburg contract but is likely to leave in July
VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Diego insists he will remain with the Bundesliga club until the summer.
The 28 year-old has been strongly linked with a move elsewhere during the transfer window, given that his contract is set to expire in July.
Diego admits it is likely that he will eventually leave, but intends to see out the campaign.
"The clubs who want me now will still want me in the summer," he said, as reported by Sky Sports.
"One thing's for sure at the moment - I'm staying at least until the end of the season.”
Diego has been ever-present for VfL Wolfsburg this season, scoring three goals in 14 appearances.
