Real Madrid sign Figueirense starletCasemiro is another example of a Brazilian to come to Madrid on loan initially
Real Madrid have today announced the signing of a young Brazilian striker on loan who will immediately be farmed to their feeder side Castilla in order to complete his EU residency.
Pablo Felipe Teixeira, a 21 year-old from Figueirense, follows in the footsteps of countryman Casemiro who made a similar switch to Madrid in 2013.
Real manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about being inactive during this January's transfer window, both in terms of players joining and leaving.
However, the form of Teixeira, who managed to net nine times for Figueirense in last year's Campeonato Brasileiro, has persuaded Ancelotti to make his move.
Madrid also have Brazilian international full-back Marcelo on their books.
