Darío Conca admits he’s happy to return to Fluminense after three years with Guangzhou Evergrande.

The 30 year-old left Flu for China in July 2011, but will be back playing for the Rio de Janeiro-based side next season.

“I’m looking forward to playing again and seeing the friends I left here,” he said, as reported by China.org. “I can’t wait to go on the pitch again wearing the Fluminense shirt.

“I hope to be able to make people happy, but I can’t promise titles. I can only promise to work hard and do the best I can for the team.”

Conca’s time with Guangzhou was very successful. He won the Chinese Super League three times, the 2012 Chinese FA Cup, 2012 Chinese FA Super Cup and the 2013 AFC Champions League.
