Corinthians willing to listen offers for Pato
Arsenal and Tottenham target, Alexandre Pato, have today been given hope of signing the forward after Corinthians said that would listen to offers, reports the Daily Star.
Pato has spent just a year in Brazil after signing from AC Milan, ending a six year spell in Italy.
Pato hoped for a career revival in his homeland but his time at Corinthians is set to be up after just 11 months with Corinthians.
“When we bought Pato, it was because it was an opportunity, he is a great player," said director of football Roberto de Andrade.
“He is a kid - still very young - we don't regret it. He will make the fans very happy.
"We can negotiate about him, like any player. But in order to have a negotiation, there must be clubs interested in signing him and Pato so far has not asked to leave."
Both clubs are looking to bolster their attacking options in January and Pato is on their radar’s.
