Cláudio Taffarel: Galatasaray will be wary of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal
Galatasaray goalkeeping coach Cláudio Taffarel insists his side will be most wary of Arturo Vidal, when they face Juventus.
The Champions League tie between the two sides at the Türk Telekom Arena will be replayed on Wednesday, with Tuesday’s meeting postponed due to snow.
“[Carlos] Tévez is a very smart Argentine, but Vidal is Juventus' biggest threat," he said to Tuttosport, as reported by GOAL.com.
"He's an amazing midfielder. You cannot afford to lose sight of him. Lose him for one moment and he shows up in front of goal.
"Vidal is among the five best players in the world in his position. He is Chilean, but he would be great for the Brazilian national team as well.”
Taffarel, who was capped 101 times by Brazil, made 129 appearances across three seasons as a player with Galatasaray. The 47 year-old was part of the side that won the 1999-2000 UEFA Cup. He also had various spells playing in Italy with Parma, Reggiana and Empoli.
