Long time Manchester United target, Bruno Gomes, had today announced his move to Brazilian club, Sporting Internacional.
Gomes looked set to be on the move to Manchester United after signing a deal with former coach Sir Alex Ferguson to join the club on his 18th birthday.
But with new coach David Moyes in charge, Gomes has changed his career plans and signed a deal with Internacional, and is pleased to be joining up with Diego Forlan.
The 18 year old forward tweeted: “Thanks MUFC fans for all, but, now I’m Red from southern Brazil – Sport Club Internacional!!!”
Gomes had tweeted the past different photos posing in United tracksuits and contacting fans over the social network, but now it looks like Brazil is the chosen route for the wonderkid.
