Report: Bayern Munich defender Rafinha to be targeted by Corinthians
Christian Rapp, a representative of Bayern Munich defender Rafinha, admits his client could leave the European champions.
Rafinha’s contract expires next summer. He has been strongly linked with Corinthians, who need a replacement for retiring right full-back Alessandro.
"Everything seems possible at this point,” Rapp told Bild. “He feels great at FC Bayern, but his contract ends soon.”
With manager Pep Guardiola often fielding captain Philipp Lahm in midfield, Rafinha has been a regular this season. The 28 year-old has made 18 appearances in all competitions.
Rafinha joined Bayern Munich in June 2011, after a year with Genoa. He had previously been at Schalke 04 for five seasons. They signed him from Coritiba in 2005.
The Londrina-native, who has been capped once by Brazil, has won the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, DFB-Pokal and DFL-supercup with Bayern.
