Former Seleção pin up star, Ronaldo, has spoke out Italy’s chances at the World Cup and feels the five times champions must be feared.
Italy under Prandelli have been playing exceptional football and causing many major nations problems.
Ronaldo feels that the men in blue must be feared coming into the tournament: “Italy are traditionally a team to be feared in these tournaments,” he said at a Press conference in Costa do Sauipe, as reported by FootballItalia.
“Even when they don’t necessarily play that well, they still often get to the semi-final or the Final.”
Ronaldo also fears that Mario Balotelli must be targeted to keep the forward under wraps: “Balotelli is a great champion and can make the difference at the World Cup, if he behaves himself.”
Ronaldo will be apart of the draw for the group stages today which will take place at 4PM UK time.
