2014 FIFA World Cup draw rehearsal pits Brazil in ‘Group of Death’
The rehearsal draw for the 2014 FIFA World Cup pit Brazil in what would have been a nightmare group.
The hosts were paired with France, Australia and Italy in Group A. Only Group E, with Spain, Ivory Coast, South Korea and England came close to matching Group A’s toughness.
The proper draw will take place tomorrow in Costa de Sauipe at 16.00 GMT. Seleção legend Cafu will draw the seeded times, with Zinedine Zidane picking two African and two South American nations.

Group B: Uruguay, Nigeria, USA. Croatia
Group C: Argentina, Ghana, Costa Rica, Russia
Group D: Switzerland, Chile, Japan, Greece
Group E: Spain, Ivory Coast, South Korea, England
Group F: Colombia, Cameroon, Honduras, Netherlands
Group G: Germany, Ecuador, Iran, Portugal
Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Mexico, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
