Ex Newcastle centre half, Claudio Caçapa, has been named at the new U15 coach of the Brazilian national team.
CBF heads met this week to discuss the new coach and felt that the 37 year old was the best man for the job.
Cacapa will take charge of the team for the South American Youth cup, and the U15 World Cup.
Besides the announcement of Caçapa, the meeting was held to organize the calendar for 2014.
“We saw the need for this division, because 2014 will be a preparatory year for the official competitions of 2015. We will have many calls for the three categories to get stronger in 2015 and win all the titles.” Said, Alexandre Gallo.
“In U-15, will be 10 calls – in 2014 there will be only one competition, the Cup of the Mediterranean in Barcelona in April.”
“In the U17 will be eight summonses.”
