Brazilian defender, Casemiro, made his first start for Real Madrid in the Champions League last night, winning 4-1 over Galatasary.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti threw the young man into the deep end last and spoke to the media after the game to praise the 21 year old.
“Casemir was very good defensively, very aggressive, recovered many balls, tried some long passes…. He had the same opportunity as others,” reports Esportes.
Casemiro was a product of the Sao Paulo youth development squad, he signed for the Spanish giants in June of this year after a successful loan spell in the B squad.
