Manchester United midfielder Anderson insists he can still force his way into head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Brazil World Cup squad.

The 25 year-old has made just three appearances – two starts – this season.

Anderson hopes he can get more playing time in the coming months and return to the Seleção.

“Every player wants to be in the World Cup. It will be so nice to play in it in Brazil obviously,” he said, as reported by GOAL.com.

“I have a chance. If I get opportunities to play for United then I think I could have an opportunity to play for Brazil in the World Cup.”

Anderson, who has eight caps, last represented Brazil in 2008. He joined Manchester United from Porto in May 2007 for €30 million.
