Report: Internazionale and Napoli target Anzhi Makhachkala midfielder Jucilei
Serie A duo Internazionale and Napoli are ready to bid for Anzhi Makhachkala midfielder Jucilei.
The Russian side downscaled over the summer, with the sale of many big names players. Amongst those who left was Willian and Samuel Eto’o, who joined Chelsea.
Alongside Ivorian forward Lacina Traoré and fellow Brazilian Ewerton, Jucilei is one of a few notable players left at the Dagestan club. The trio are, however, expected to leave in January.
Tuttosport claims Inter and Napoli will move for Jucilei. The 25 year-old is value at €11 million.
With investment expected from new owner Erick Thohir, Inter should have the funds to match that fee.
Napoli also have money to spend, after the sale of Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint-Germain for €64 million in July.
Jucilei, capped twice by Brazil, joined Anzhi from Corinthians in February 2011 for €10 million. He has made 20 appearances this season.
Anzhi are bottom of the Russian Premier League after 16 rounds. They have just six points and are yet to win.
