Tite: “Pato must mature”
Corinthians coach, Tite, has told under pressure striker Alexandre Pato that he must change himself if he wants to stay at Corinthians or face a move away.
Tite believes the striker must show maturity to make a step forward at the Sao Paulo Club. His manager was quoted in Lancenet saying, “He has to have maturity, see his errors, knows what I and the technical staff want. The duck needs that maturity will see its faults, will absorb, and not respond to criticism.”
In the recent weeks the Seleção forward has come under criticism from all around the club, from the boardroom, the backroom staff and the fans. The Brazilian media feel that Pato is struggling to make an impression at Corinthians.
Last week Pato revealed he turned down a move to Spurs in the summer after discussions with the Corinthians hierarchy, he felt it was in his best interests to stay with the club.
But now after comments from his manager, Pato may be looking for a move to North London, with Arsenal joining Tottenham in the race for his signature.
In twenty five appearances Pato has only netted eight times in his time at Corinthians.
