Scolari: We respect Honduras
Brazil's national team manager Scolari has affirmed that his team will not underestimate upcoming opponent Honduras, despite the quality gap between the two teams.
The experienced manager talked about Honduras during a press conference on Thursday, he said: "I don't agree that they offer no threat. I was beaten 0-2 by them in Copa América when I was Brazil's manager and everyone was angry.
"So Honduras do pose a challenge as they have nothing to lose. We will have to keep playing according to the idea that every game is worth three points."
Brazil's national team coordinator Carlos Alberto Parreira agrees with Scolari, he said: "They were very good in the Qualifiers and finished among the top three. Honduras are a good and experienced team, they have good players and they will be great for our World Cup preparation.
"We understand this game is part of the preparation, regardless of the opponent, like Panama or Costa Rica, as we are not playing the World Cup Qualifiers.
The Seleção plat against Honduras in Miamo on November 16 and against Chile in Toronto three days later.
