Felipão named on World Coach of the Year shortlist but Cuca is overlooked
Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has been nominated for FIFA World Coach of the Year.
The 64 year-old led A Seleção to Confederations Cup victory in June. Brazil won all five matches, including a 3-0 hammering of Spain in the final.
Brazil have lost just two games this year - against England and Switzerland - while beating the likes of France and Portugal.
Scolari is the only Brazilian nominee. Despite winning the Copa Libertadores with Atlético Mineiro, Cuca has not made the cut.
