Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia hails ‘determined’ Kakà
Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia has praised team-mate Kakà’s desire to get fit.
The Brazilian returned against Udinese last weekend, before playing a starring role in the mid-week draw with Barcelona.
The 32 year-old had missed six matches after suffering thigh muscle damage in a 2-2 draw at Torino.
“Kakà is in good shape,” insists Amelia, as reported by Football Italia. “He’s relaxed, smiling and gets along with everyone in the locker room. He was so determined to get over his injury that he’d be the first into the training camp and the last one home.
“He already showed some important moves against Barcelona, so we just need to wait for him to regain match fitness in order to see the champion he really is.”
Both Kakà and Amelia were named as substitutes for Milan’s tie with Parma on Sunday. Robinho and Gabriel started.
