Report: Manchester United closing in on Bruno Gomes agreement
Manchester United could finally be closing in on an agreement for Desportivo Brasil forward Bruno Gomes.
A report on mufclatest.com claims that the Premier League champions may soon be able to announce a deal.
United have held a long standing interest in the 17 year-old and are believed to have first refusal on him.
Their delays in firming up their admiration with a serious offer has reportedly frustrated Gomes’ representatives, who are looking to cash in as the player approaches his 18th birthday.
Interest from Udinese and São Paulo, who have already signed former Manchester United trialist Lucas Evangelista from Desportivo, seems to have forced United into making a decision on Gomes.
The forward has admitted his desire is to play for David Moyes’ side and an agreement is now seemingly in the pipeline.
