Inter target Brazilian midfield duo
Internazionale coach Walter Mazzarri wants a new midfielder in January.
According to Tuttosport, the 52 year-old feels he needs another holder, despite adding Saphir Taïder over the summer.
The sports daily insists Mazzarri's two preferred targets are Porto’s Fernando and São Paulo youngster Wellington.
The former has been a long-term target for Inter and is out of contract in the summer. Sporting director Marco Branca would look to agree nominal fee with the Portuguese giants to bring Fernando to San Siro six months ahead of his deal expiring.
Wellington was initially pursued as an alternative to Taider. The 22 year-old has made 20 appearances for São Paulo this term.
