Marquinhos is the present and the future, claims Camara
Paris Saint-Germain defender Zoumana Camara believes Marquinhos represents both the present and the future.
The young Brazilian defender is widely seen as one of the most exciting prospects in world football and Camara beleives he has settled in well in his short time in Paris.
The 19-year-old has been eased into his new club in Ligue 1 this season, with PSG coach Laurent Blanc selecting him on five occasions so far and Camara has been impressed with what he has seen, reports Goal.com.
"Marquinhos is so good that he represents both the present and the future," Camara told Le10Sport.
"He has come from a strong side in Roma and shown that he can play at the top level. Some people have asked me to compare him to [Mamadou] Sakho, and in my opinion they are very different in style.
"The most important thing is that we let him progress at his own speed, and don't call him things like the 'new Thiago Silva'. That won't help his development."
The young Brazilian moved to PSG from Roma in the summer for a fee of €32m.
