Internacional have announced that head coach Dunga has been sacked.
Friday’s 3-1 defeat at struggling Vasco da Gama sealed the 49 year-old’s fate.
Dunga had been under pressure at Inter following a string of bad results. The loss to Vasco was their fourth in a row, while they have won just once in eight outings.
Last month, president Giovanni Luigi insisted that Dunga would remain, but has decided to take action, with his side now seven points adrift of a Copa Libertadores spot and 22 behind leaders Cruzeiro.
Dunga was previously sacked after four years as Brazil’s national team manager, following their quarter-final exit to Netherlands at the 2010 World Cup.
