Ronaldinho receives support from President Rousseff following injury
After test showed that Ronaldinho may miss the Club World through injury, the Brazilian President has given his support.
The Seleção international has receive support from the Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff after it was revealed he could miss Atlético Mineiro’s Club World Cup campaign in December.
Rousseff used her personal Twitter account to express her support for the former two-time world player of the year, who ruptured a muscle in his left leg during training with Atlético Mineiro last week.
Rousseff, an Atlético Mineiro fan, exchanged a few Twitter messages with Ronaldinho on Sunday. She said she "will be cheering for him to recover in time" for the club championship later this year in Morocco, reports Newsobserver.com.
Ronaldinho is expected to be sidelined for three months with doctors saying it is unclear if he will be ready for the Club World Cup or not.
The 33-year-old said Rousseff's support gives him "even more motivation" to recover.
