Tottenham's Sandro looks for Chelsea revenge
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro is looking to gain revenge on Chelsea when they meet at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Chelsea ran out 4-2 winners in the same fixture last season, but Spurs go into this weekend’s game having won four of their five Premier League games and are yet to concede a goal at home this season.
Sandro, who scored his first Tottenham goal against Chelsea with a 35-yard strike in April 2011, says the squad are determined to beat their London rivals and make issue revenge for 11 months ago, reports Goal.com.
"Chelsea is a great game and everyone is looking forward to it," the Seleção international told the club’s official website.
"Last season we lost at home and this season we're determined to win. We have to play like we played at Villa. Let’s try and take this big win."
Tuesday's 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup was Sandro's first start alongside compatriot Paulinho in the centre of the Spurs midfield, and the former is delighted with his Brazil teammate’s impact at the club.
"It was my first time to play with Paulinho and he’s amazing," he continued.
"He's on fire at the moment! I’m so glad for him and everyone enjoyed this moment."
