Dante: Bayern will prove doubters wrong
Brazil defender Dante believes Bayern Munich will prove doubters wrong by winning a lot of silverware by the end of the season.
Bayern currently share the Bundesliga lead with Borussia Dortmund after winning five of their opening six games, but despite that relatively healthy start they have been on the receiving end of criticism.
The club’s own sporting director Matthias Sammer stuck the boot in by accusing the Bayern players of "hiding" behind Pep Guardiola following his arrival over the summer - but Dante maintains any talk of problems is far too premature, reports Goal.com.
"We have heard some of the criticisms but we have experience," the 29-year-old told reporters.
"At this stage you can't always play commanding and glittering. The most important thing is to get the results and the points."
The Seleção star also claimed that the squad were still getting used to some of Guardiola's methods, but was confident of further success.
"We are playing with a higher defensive line this season and you have to be awake so no striker can pass," he added.
"Under Guardiola we play with more risk. When we are not convinced by an idea, we talk and he is open. He understands everything."
