Corinthians line up Rafael move - reports
Reports are surfacing in Brazil that Corinthians are making an attempt to bring Manchester United defender Rafael to the club.
The Brazilian club are reportedly looking to bring the 23-year-old back to his native country as a replacement for the retiring Alessandro.
As well as the 34-year-old calling it a day at the end of the season, Corinthians also seem intent in keeping Edenilson as a defensive midfielder, providing even more need for a new right back.
Despite having a contract at Old Trafford until 2016 it is not ruled out that the Brazilian side can bring the Seleção international back to his homeland, reports Lance.
In June, United signed Uruguayan right back Guillermo Varela and with the likes of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, and Johnny Evans at the club, it is now reported that Rafael could use a move the Corinthians to get over his Olympics nightmare and force his way back in into the Seleção squad.
