São Paulo resume negotiations over Bruno Gomes - report
São Paulo have resumed negotiations for Desportivo Brasil's promising striker Bruno Gomes, according to a report from Lancenet.
The striker was on trial at Manchester United last year and has recently been linked to Udinese, the Italian club were expected to offer 8 million Euros for the young striker, but that did not happen and São Paulo are now the favorites again to sign him.
It remains to be seen if Udinese will keep their interest for Bruno Gomes, who has also been linked to Juventus.
Desportivo Brasil want a much lower fee, 800,000 Euros, to sell half of the striker's rights, but São Paulo expect to convince the Traffic-owned club to accept 500,000 Euros for 60% of his rights.
São Paulo reached an agreement with Bruno Gomes and his agent last week, although they are yet convince Desportivo Brasil to sell him.
Bruno Gomes is currently the top goalscorer in the São Paulo Under 17 State League with a record 28 goals, but despite his success, he has not been given many chances at Brazil's youth national teams and has not been included in the preliminary squad list for the Under 17 World Cup.
