Pato blames doctors for muscle problems at Milan
Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato has blamed former club Milan’s doctors for the injuries that plagued his final 18 months at the Rossoneri.
The 23 year-old departed the San Siro outfit in January and has rediscovered form and fitness back in Brazil with Corinthians.
Pato has previously stated that leaving Milan was the best move he could have made to resurrect his physical shape and has now gone a step further by criticising the Serie A side’s medical staff.
"My muscle troubles were not down to me. I had many injuries at Milan," he told Sport TV.
"I was playing, getting injured, recovering and then going back in to see the physio. It is the fault of the doctors who were forcing me to return to the pitch too soon."
