Allegri rejects Pato criticism
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has defended the club’s doctors after criticism from Alexandre Pato.
In recent comments, the former Rossoneri striker has suggested that they were to blame for the injuries that blighted his final 18 months at the San Siro.
Allegri, however, does not believe this was the case and has questioned Pato’s judgement.
“Talking about something in the past does not make sense,” he told a Press conference.
“Pato is playing in Brazil now and I think he’s doing pretty well.
“But making unfounded accusations towards those who work in a professional manner is not pretty.”
Pato left Milan and signed with Corinthians for £11 million in January.
