Kaka to captain Milan on his second debut
AC Milan midfielder will wear the captain’s armband as he leads the side out for his first game back at the club in four years.
He will captain an AC Milan side which includes his compatriot Robinho who starts the game in attack alongside Alessandro Matri in a friendly with Chiasso tonight, reports Football Italia.
The Brazilian returned on a free transfer from Real Madrid this week and has been thrown straight into the starting XI for today’s game in Switzerland.
Goalkeeper Marco Amelia graciously handed over the captain’s armband to Kaka, whose last appearance in a Rossoneri jersey was in May 2009.
The 31-year-old left the San Siro in 2009 in a then-world record transfer for £53 million to Real Madrid and his return to Italy has been warmly welcomed by Milan and Serie A as a whole.
