Bernard could start for Brazil against Australia
Shakhtar Donetsk forward Bernard could start for Brazil in tomorrow’s game against Australia, after recent training sessions gave an idea of Scolari’s first eleven.
As well as Bernard, Chelsea midfielder Ramires could also come into the squad for the friendly match which takes place at the Mané Garrincha stadium in Brasilia.
There are vacant places in the Seleção starting eleven, as usual starters Oscar and Hulk are sidelined with injuries ahead of this game.
It’s likely that Bernard will come in on the left with Neymar drifting into a more central position, and Ramires will play his shuttling role on the right of midfield.
The Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari expects the Australians to be tough opponents and set up with plenty of men behind the ball, but he believes this will provide a good experience for future similar challenges.
“They will play with nine men behind the ball, a situation that can be repeated when we face other teams in the World Cup” said Scolari.
