Santos announce tour of South East Asia
Santos will tour South East Asia later this month, as they send out a side to play games in Indonesia and Vietnam.
The side will more than likely be made up of youth players, so effectively this will be an uner-20 side, and as a result shouldn’t trouble the first team’s Brazilian league fixtures.
The chosen squad will leave Santos on September the 26th, and will play a Vietnam under-23 side on the 29th.
They’ll then travel to Indonesia where a number of other fixtures are arranged, in an exercise which will help promote the club in the region.
The Santos side is likely to feature players such as Anderson Carvalho, Geuvânio, Gabriel Gasparotto, Douglas, and Walace.
Meanwhile, the Santos first team will continue their league campaign, with their next game being against Goiás tomorrow night.
