Ronaldinho back in Atlético Mineiro squad for Fluminense clash
Atlético Mineiro coach Cuca has confirmed that Ronaldinho will be back in the squad for their upcoming game against Fluminense.
Ronaldinho picked up a slight thigh injury in the recent cup match against Botafogo, and as a result he missed his side’s 0-0 draw with Goiás on Saturday.
Galo had several player missing for the game, including striker Jô, but they especially missed Ronaldinho’s creative spark in midfield.
Defender Leonardo Silva will also return to the squad, but Jô has been called up to the Brazil squad so will be missing.
Atlético Mineiro have struggled for form since their Copa Libertadores victory and fins themselves lying precariously in 13th position, in what is a tightly packed bottom half of the table.
The game against Fluminense will take place at the Independência in Belo Horizonte on Wednesday night, as both teams will be looking to turn around their fairly average league performances so far.
