Chelsea in late swoop for Spurs target Willian - reports
Chelsea have reportedly lodged a late €37 million bid for Willian after the Anzhi Makhachkala attacker passed a medical at Tottenham.
The Brazilian is close to sealing a €35m move to White Hart Lane, but Spurs’ London rivals have tried to swoop in at the final minute.
Willian has been linked with Chelsea for a number of months now, having impressed at Stamford Bridge when playing for Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League group stage last season.
And the 25-year-old is said to be considering his options in a second change of, with Liverpool previously confident of securing Willian's signature.
He would become Spurs' third record signing this summer after deals of £17m and £26m for compatriot Paulinho and Roberto Soldado respectively.
