Tottenham close in on Willian - report
Tottenham are in advanced talks to sign Brazilian winger Willian from Anzhi Makhachkala according to reports in England.
The Premier League outfit are said to have had a £30 million offer accepted by Anzhi for the Brazilian and are now in talks with the player himself, according to the BBC.
Personal talks are expected to take place, with a decision said to be made on Tuesday as to his destination.
The 25-year-old has also attracted interest from Liverpool, but the Reds were reported to have rejected the chance to match Tottenham's offer.
Liverpool have pursued the signing since last weekend and were said to be 'confident' at securing Willian, but Spurs have moved quickly.
If Spurs pull off the signing, it would be the third time this summer they have broken their transfer record.
Willian only just moved to Anzhi in January for €30 million, but financial issues mean that the Russian side are forced to sell the player.
