Lazio's Ederson: English fans are extraordinary
Lazio striker Ederson has praised English spporters after his side’s a 1-0 friendly win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
The Brazilian came on as a second half substitute after Miroslav Klose had netted the only goal of the game in the 12th minute.
And Ederson was impressed by the support that the Crystal Palace fans gave their side throughout the 90 minutes.
"It was a good game and it’s always fun to play in England," Ederson told Lazio Style Radio.
"The fans are extraordinary. Despite the fact they were losing, the Palace supporters never stopped singing. It’s a pleasure to play in this atmosphere and we are satisfied with the performance.
"We are preparing well for the challenge with Juventus. It is a game we have to win."
The victory was Lazio’s final pre-season game before the Italian Super Cup against Juventus on August 18.
Ederson is determined to walk away from the Stadio Olimpico showdown with the Scudetto holders as a winner.
He added: "We are preparing well for the challenge with Juventus. It is a game we have to win."
