Luís Fabiano extends São Paulo contract until December 2015
São Paulo's experienced striker Luís Fabiano has extended his contract with the club until December 2015.
The striker had previously been linked with a move out of the club, but he eventually decided to stay. Luís Fabiano had received offers from European clubs and São Paulo's president Juvenal Juvêncio had admitted that the striker could leave the club.
The decision to also extend his contract until the end of the 2015 season is expected to put an end to all rumors. His original contract would expire in March 2015.
Luís Fabiano, however, is recovering from an injury, so he has not been included in the São Paulo squad that are playing friendlies in Europe and Asia.
The Tricolor have played two games so far, losing 0-2 to Bayern and 0-1 to AC Milan, both for the Audi Cup.
