FC Porto from Portugal are among the clubs interested in Cruzeiro’s promising striker Vinícius Araújo, according to reports in Brazilian press.
O Tempo claims that several Europeans clubs, such as FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Udinese and Napoli, want to sign the highly-rated striker.
Udinese, in fact, have already made an offer for the striker, according to reports in Italian press, but Cruzeiro turned it down.
Vinícius Araújo has impressed at Cruzeiro’s youth level and was promoted to the senior team this year. He also shone in the Toulon Tournament, scoring seven goals and helping Brazil win the title.
Cruzeiro plan to offer him a new and improved contract, which could help them keep the striker longer at the club.
