Brazil FA president José Maria Marin has suggested that Ramires and Ronaldinho will not return to the national team due to the attitude they had in the past.

Marin talked with O Globo about the situation of both players. He said about Chelsea midfielder Ramires: “The national team’s doors are open to all Brazilian players as long as they are fully committed since when they get called up. The attitude on and off the pitch is the key.

“There was a player that gave priority to having dinner instead. I won’t name him, but his wife even said the national team is a mafia because he was not called up again.”

The incident happened in March, before the friendly game against Russia in London. Ramires’ wife then used a social network to criticize both Brazil’s FA and the national team.

José Maria main also talked about Ronaldinho’s situation and what happened before the friendly against Chile in April, he said: “You invite me to have dinner at your home, I arrive there and you aren’t there. I wait and you, the host, is the last one to arrive.

“The national team come to dinner and the host is the last one to arrive. It can’t be that way!”
