Vasco’s president Roberto Dinamite has admitted that the club are interested in FC Porto’s experienced goalkeeper Hélton.
There are reports in Brazilian press that a deal might even already be in place, although neither the clubs nor the goalkeeper have confirmed anything.
Roberto Dinamite has, however, confirmed that the club are interested in Hélton, he told Globo Esporte: “Vasco are interested in Hélton, but for now it’s just interest.
“I was told to keep details secret. There are things I can say and things I can’t say. We are interested in Hélton, but there is nothing yet.”
Vasco have been interested in signing an experienced goalkeeper since Fernando Prass left the club to join Palmeiras.
