Fluminense"s manager Abel Braga has denied claims that he is set to become the new boss of Al-Ain.
United Arab Emirates newspaper The National claimed that Abel Braga had accepted to sign a two-year contract with Al-Ain and could be officially announced this Sunday.
But Abel Braga has denied that claim, he told Lancenet: “There is nothing, I don"t know where these stories come from. I am not crazy!"
Fluminense"s executive director Rodrigo Caetano has also denied any deal, he said: “Nothing has come to us, and it"s very unlikely that happens.
Abel [Braga] is a correct person, he wouldn"t do that without telling us first. So from Fluminense"s point of view, there is nothing."
Fluminense had a poor start in the Brazilian league, losing four out of the first seven games. They lost only six games when they won the title last year.
