Liverpool"s Philippe Coutinho says he dreams of playing for Brazil one day with the prospect of a debut for the Seleção ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

The Brazilian says he would love to play for his homeland but insists he is concentrating on impressing for Liverpool next season.

“Of course, it"s the dream of every player to represent their country and it"s not different for me," Coutinho told Liverpool"s official website.

“I have this dream, this aim, but I try to think only about Liverpool and having a good season, learning and evolving in my career. Then if I get an opportunity [with Brazil], I"ll make the most of it."

Coutinho roses through the youth ranks for Brazil alongside current Seleção star Neymar and fans will be eager to see the duo renuited in the famous yellow and green.
