Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato has ended a 10-game goal drought as he scored a brace against Bahia.

His goals helped Corinthians move up eight place in the league standings, placing the club in the race for the title.

The forward told reporters after the game: “I was having bad luck, I was working hard, training finishing, I scored two goals today but the most important thing is that we got the three points.”

Pato did not want to explain his strange celebration, he covered part of his face with his hand.

He said after the game: “It’s a silly thing, you’ll find out soon and I want to do it again.”
