Ibson happy with Corinthians debut
Corinthians midfielder Ibson is happy with his debut at the club, despite the 0-0 draw with Portuguesa.
The midfielder was recently signed from Flamengo, he signed a contract with Corinthians until December 2014.
Ibson talked with reporters after the match against Portuguesa, he said: "Although I had not played for a long time, I think I made a good debut.
I had been working only to improve the physical condition, but what matters is that I could play a game, trying to win until the end."
Corinthians' manager Tite also praised Ibson's performance, he said: "We had to hurry the process, fielding Ibson despite the fact he did not have any specific training, harming team play."
The Brazilian League is stopping due to the start of the Confederations Cup, and will only resume in July, but Ibson and Corinthians will also play the Recopa against São Paulo that month.
