Brazil 2-2 England: Seleção frustrated by Three Lions
The Seleção rescued a draw after failing to take advantage of a poor England side at the Maracanã as they drew 2-2 on Sunday.
Fred opened the scoring but goals from Wayne Rooney and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain turned the tables before Paulinho levelled proceedings.
Luiz Felipe Scolari's side burst out of the blocks in the first-half but their efforts were fruitless as countless chances were wasted.
But in the second-half it paid dividends as Fred slammed home a rebound after Hernanes' long range effort hit the bar.
England struck back through Oxlade-Chamberlain as the Arsenal youngster thundered home a sweetly-struck half-volley.
And Rooney put them into the lead with a deflected shot which evaded Júlio César in goal before Paulinho's volley equalised for Brazil.
Brazil pushed for a late winner but it wasn't to come and they now move onto to prepare for the arrival of France in the last remaining friendly before the Confederations Cup.
