Paris Saint-Germain’s star Lucas Moura has compared David Beckham to São Paulo’s goalkeeper and idol Rogério Ceni.
The former São Paulo player was one of the invitees at traditional Sportv show Bem, Amigos, as he talked about his career and opinions.
Lucas Moura was asked about Beckham, he said: “It was very good to play along with him, I was very happy when he was signed. He is an idol, a exemplary figure, I became an even bigger fan after I met him.
“He is a person enormous simplicity, a great guy, very professional, I compare him to Rogério Ceni. He always arrive first for training and leaves last. I learned a lot from him, we have a nice friendship.”
Lucas added: “He is a great person, a great friend, it was exciting to play his last game, he was very emotional, it was a moment I will never forget, to play with him when I used to only see him on television and videogames.”
