Leverkusen make €12m offer for Corinthians forward Romarinho - report
German club Bayer Leverkusen have made an offer for Corinthians young forward Romarinho, according to reports in Brazilian press.
The offer is estimated in around €12 million, and as is typical in Brazil, Corinthians own only 40% of his economic rights.
Romarinho shone in the Copa Libertadores final last year, and has started many games this season.
Corinthians are not eager to sell him as they plan to keep the young players in the squad, while older players such as Jorge Henrique are expected to leave, and Alessandro will retire in December.
Paulinho is also expected to leave as Inter Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk are interested, his buyout fee is estimated in €20 million.
Manager Tite hopes that all players stay though, he told Globo Esporte: "The manager always wants to see the squad being improved, and wants that the players in the squad improve more, as well as wanting to see more signings."
