Inter Milan’s Julio César and PSV Eindhoven defender Alex both made the squad. The main absence is Ronaldinho Gaucho who is being rested.
Brazil’s next game World Cup qualifier is the 4th September, against Chile in eliminatory match of the 2006 World Cup. The next confirmed friendly is November 12th, against the United Arab Emirates in Asia.
