Cruzeiro defender Léo linked with French clubs
Cruzeiro's centreback Léo has been linked with French clubs Lyon, Saint Étienne and Montpellier, according to reports from France.
He has previously been linked to Italian football, but remained at Cruzeiro. His club has signed top defender Dedé recently.
The defender talked to Le10Sport about the possibility of a move to France, he said: "I have always dreamed of playing in France, as besides the fact it's a very beautiful country, it has a beautiful and quality league."
"The history is particularly appealing, I would like to play for Lyon, it would be a dream to play there. In 2011 there were come contacts from Bordeaux but no transfer happened."
Léo started his career at Grêmio in 2007, had a short spell at Palmeiras in 2010 and moved to Cruzeiro in the same year. His current contract with Cruzeiro expires in August 2015.
