Bayern Munich’s Rafinha saw red as they were held by rivals Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga as the two teams prepare for their Champions League clash later this month.

The match was seen as a warm-up for the upcoming Champions League final and the two teams battled to a 1-1 draw with goals from Kevin Grosskeutz and Jakub Blaszczykowski.

Grosskeutz opened the scoring early on for Borussia Dortmund with a simple strike after some excellent work from Polish winger Blaszczykowski.

But Mario Gomez quickly levelled proceedings thanks to an assist from Rafinha and the game entered the second-half with no further goals. 

But Rafinha was given his marching orders after the hour mark for what looked like a deliberate elbow on Blaszczykowski.

Luiz Gustavo and Felipe Santana also featured in this game wiht Gustavo picking up a booking in the first-half for Bayern.
